Les Gibson celebrates 90th birthday with family

    Les Gibson spent the weekend of Saturday, December 29, Sunday, December 30, and Monday, December  31 of 2007 celebrating his 90th birthday with family at the Super 8 in Lisbon.

All 39 members of the family from ages 4 months to 90 years old were able to attend. This included: Tim, Dean, Susan, Paul, Cynthia and Valerie and their spouses. The Gibsons have 12 grandchildren and five of them have spouses. They have provided the Gibsons with 9 great grandchildren.

The Gibson family utilized 14 rooms at the Super 8 and enjoyed breakfast and gathering time there. They enjoyed meals at Lisbon restaurants, and the cafe in Fort Ransom. They also enjoyed time in the snow at Fort Ransom.

On Sunday, December 30, the entire Gibson family, which includes ministers and singers, filled the pulpit at Lisbon Baptist and Rutland Baptist churches.

“We had a free and happy Sunday as we all were in worship together, and then on Sunday afternoon the Open House for Les,” said Arlene Gibson.
