Donald Joseph Mann, 93, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2008, in Traverse City, Michigan. Donald was born on January 26, 1915, in Lucca, North Dakota, the son of John and Pauline Mann. Donald served in the United States Army during World War II.
He served as Sheriff of Ransom County, N.D. for 4 years while being a resident of Lisbon, North Dakota.
He then was employed by the Soo Line Railroad as Special Investigator in the Intermodal Freight Division.
Donald is survived by his sister, Dolores Harris, Moorhead, Minn.; a daughter, Patricia (Denny) Lang, Austin, Texas; and stepchildren, Rosemary (Richard) Henriksen, Traverse City, Mich., Cheryl (Monroe) Miller, Middleton, Wisc., and Tom Miller, Neenah, Wisc.
