Lillian Murray, 95, Fargo, ND, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2008, at Villa Maria in Fargo.

Lillian Anderson was born to James and Jennie Anderson on March 28, 1913, in Lisbon, ND.  She grew up and attended school in that area.  Lillian worked at Trom’s Drug Store, in Lisbon, for 13 years.  Lillian Anderson married Milton Murray in Lisbon, ND, on October 15, 1949.  They came to Fargo in 1951 and have lived here since.

Lillian was a volunteer for many years at St. Vincent de Paul in Fargo.  She was a lover of flowers and spent many hours tending her garden and flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Milton, Fargo; sister Gladys (Leslie) Durbin, Deltonna, FL; brother, Norman (Nancy) Anderson, Wichita, KS; brother Harold Anderson, Vallejo, CA.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jennie; her brothers Ardmore, Palmer, Vernon, and sister Mildred (John) Woodruff.

The funeral was held on Monday, August 25, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo.  There was a prayer service Sunday evening at Riverview Place, Fargo.  There was also a graveside service at the Lisbon Cemetery on Monday afternoon in Lisbon.
