The Lisbon Farmers Market will open on Tuesday, July 14, at 3 p.m. at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church parking lot. Market hours are 3-5:30 p.m. each Tuesday and Friday through the end of September, weather permitting. The market will provide a wide variety of locally grown fruits, vegetables, natural beef, baked and canned goods, and more.
Current members include: Crooked Row – Tamra S. Kriedeman, Jerry’s Fresh Vegetables – Jerry Hanson, County Line Produce – Dominic Whitchey, and Bless My Bloomin’ Cookies. New members may join at any time, with information available from the Lisbon Civic and Commerce or any current market vendor.
The Lisbon Farmers Market received a $500 grant from the North Dakota Farmers Market and Growers Association to assist the market with advertising, growth and local foods awareness. This is the second year the market has received grant dollars from NDFMGA.
