Senior Michele Hoistad was moved from an outside hitting position to the middle, and Bronco Coach Amy Lyons has not lost her Midas touch.  Hoistad has become much more aggressive in her hitting and the Bronco offense has become more diversified in their offensive attack.
Lisbon closed its District 1 regular season schedule with an impressive road win over Fairmount-Campbell-Tintah. The Broncos outscored the host Rebels 75-45 and had three girls record impressive hitting nights.
Susie Lyons was credited with 30 setting assists, and Kali Olson, Hillary Birchem, and Michele Hoistad slammed the ball home for a point a total of 34 times.  At times, the FCT defenders set up the Broncos’ offense.  Birchem has her first career double in kills with 10, and season leader, Kali Olson recorded 16 while Hoistad claimed 8.
Leading in digs were Nicole McRitchie with 15, and junior Karlene Lorenz with 17.
