Funeral services for Alvin Evanson, 95, Detroit Lakes, MN formerly Sheldon, were held Apr. 9 at the Lisbon Elementary School. Wilfred Goecke, Charlene Myers and Marge Major officiated. Mr. Evanson passed away on Apr. 5, 2011 in Cottages Assisted Living Center, Detroit Lakes, MN.
Alvin Evanson, son of Evan and Gertie (Bjugstad) Evanson, was born June 21, 1915 in rural Sheldon. He attended rural Sheldon School. Read the rest of this entry »
