*UND Fighting Sioux football will have a new announcer in Jack Michels starting this fall.
*The Red River Conference Indoor track and field championships were won on the boys side by Thompson and the girls side by Hillsboro.
*Grand Forks Red River won both the boys and girls indoor titles at the Bemidji Invite.
*Tanner Bittner, the son of Bronco Coach Brad Bittner, has earned the starting catcher position on the Bismarck High JV maroon baseball team. Bismarck High fields three JV teams and the maroon squad is the highest of the three.
*Milnor-Wyndmere-Lidgerwood defended their indoor boys and girls Wild Rice Conference track titles on Apr. 4.
*Jason Smedshammer was named the new head coach of the Fargo South girl’s basketball team.
*Oakes volleyball player, Makenzie Sell will play at Jamestown College next year.
